Austin City Staffers Annick Beaudet and Brent Lloyd, who are leading the Land Development Code rewrite, will take questions from AURA members and friends. This is a great chance to learn more about the rewrite and ask any and all questions of the people working to create a new, better code every day.

Code Readathon
We’ll be reading through the code to find issues, highlight important topics and raising important questions. Bring blinders, noise-canceling headphones, and whatever else you need to focus single-mindedly on our goal of getting comments to Council & Staff by Monday.
This is not a drill. We’ll provide plenty of snacks, caffeine, and other performance-enhancing materials.
Can’t make it in person? No problem. We’ll be set up digitally so you can pitch in from wherever you are.
Not a code wonk? Come learnn about the sections of the code, how the code works, and how you can pitch in.

Submit Comments to Staff and Council
We’ll submit the results of our code readathon to city staff and council.
Results Presentation
We’ll present the results of our readathon to AURA members and friends. We’ll discuss what we like about the code, what we don’t like, and what we can do to make it better.
